At the
Field Club we have a highly regarded staff ready to teach you and your children
how to swim, dive, play tennis and paddle tennis. We annually offer a lifeguard training
program for anyone who is interested in this certification. Our tennis pro, Aldo Santiago, loves to teach tennis to both children and
adults. He is fun, and the children
really love taking lessons with him. He
has a staff of 3-4 high school and college players working with him and together they make a great team.
Every year they coordinate their efforts to run the USTA Children’s
Classic Tennis Tournament that raises money for our charity -- the Endowment
for the UCONN Children’s Cancer Program.
Every summer, Mr. Grocki does an excellent job of hiring very qualified college and high school students for the positions of Head Swim Guard, Swim Guards, Head Swim Team Coach, and a Lesson Director. In coordination with Aldo Santiago, our tennis pro, Mr. Grocki also hires a Head Tennis Coach, and Tennis Staff Members.
