Throughout the year the Field Club will host a variety of social events for members and guests to get together for a day or night of dining, playing sports, or just socializing. With our newly remodeled patio which we affectionately call “Grocki’s Grove,” and our newly added outdoor picnic area, complete with tables & chairs, we have more than enough room to accommodate a nice size gathering.
Some family events include . . . our Opening Day Picnic, July 4th Picnic, and our Awards Night buffet. For adults only we have our Welcome to Summer Social, and our Mid-Summer Social, as well as our Annual Meeting. And, for the children, we have our annual trip to Lake Compounce, our infamous Sleepover Night at the Club, and our Paddle Social.
Just for Kids (and adults too!)
For kids of all ages, Arts & Crafts is offered Monday through Thursday from 2:00 - 3:30, where FFC staff will lead the kids through an organized craft project at the shaded picnic tables.
A Field Club tradition - every day at 3:00, ice cream treats are sold for just $1 each. Kids sit together on the grassy lawn and at the patio tables and enjoy a refreshing break from the sun
