USTA—Children’s Classic Tennis Tournament

The Field Club is the home of one of New England’s most prestigious annual amateur tennis tournament, the Children’s Classic. This tournament provides an opportunity for members to enjoy great tennis and to get involved in helping a most worthy cause, the UCONN Children’s Cancer Program.   UCONN has grown to become one of the leading childhood cancer programs in the country researching and developing treatments for pediatric oncology.

The Field Club has been recognized for the many hours of work and many hands helping to successfully run the Children’s Classic.  We are playing an important role in our community in the fight to conquer children’s cancer and we are proud to support this worthy cause.  To date, we have raised over $325,000 for pediatric programs and the bone marrow transplant unit
